We started Sasquatch Watch© years ago because of my daughter, Brandie.  She was in grade school when she spotted her bigfoot.  We were driving along the highway between Rexburg, Idaho and Sage Junction, Idaho near Beaver Dick State Park.  There was a volcanic rock outcropping along the road.  She had been watching the pile of rocks for quite a while, as the road is flat and so is the surrounding land, (sagebrush mostly).  The top rock was shaped funny.  As we came along side the rock outcropping, the funny shaped rock stood up and walked off behind the pile of red lava rock.  She screamed and screamed, trying to get her father to stop.  By the time he stopped the car, we were quite a ways down the road. We went back, but didn't get out of the car and didn't see anything. 

Later, as reported on our website, my husband, Jim, and I made a trip to the very spot where the incident had occurred.  Jim was not my husband at the time of the incident.  We drove up and down the road and noticed some interesting things.  When we climbed around the rocks, there were plenty of secreted places for a bigfoot to hide or simply rest.  There were rabbits and other wild animals that could provide a food source.  At Beaver Dick State Park, there was a lake, wild roses, wild berries and all sorts of water fowl, fish, and water plants that could sustain a bigfoot.  We did not find any, but there are many secreted sink holes and lava tubes in the area since the Idaho desert areas are known for their volcanic origins.  The Twin Buttes in the Arco desert area are extinct volcanoes.    Not to mention that the Indians from the Sho-Ban reservation near Blackfoot, Idaho,  have legends of Bigfoot as well as reservation sightings as recent as 20-30 years ago.

We see most of our movies at home, instead of at the theatre, and we like the way Netflix recommends movies that we might have missed. Many late run movies never show at our home theatres, but they show up on Netflix as soon as they are released. There are many Bigfoot movies available, from expedition footage to hollywood movies.
