More Scottish Festival
updated February 2006
| Attending a Scottish Festival is one of the
high points of my year! It is festive and noisy and full of
music, voices, color, and smells of Scotland, and the dancing.
The kilts are especially nice...most Scottish men have great legs!
I think one of my favorite events is the sports... Log tossing,
stone throwing...well, it is just fun and exciting. The food
is fabulous!
Getting in touch with my roots was especially fun when I took my grandchildren so they could get to know their ancestry. It was a wonderful generational event to share. These pictures were taken at the Scottish Festival at Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. |
