Ok you guys and gals out there!

It is time to put ROMANCE back into your lives.

My Goal: to do away with fuzzy bath robes and appliances or tools and ties as gifts. These should be reserved for non gift days: Necessities only category.

Now that we have that straight, let's get started.

Each Month I will be offering a Romance tip of the week.

ROMANCE TIP # 1

You don't have to wait for camping season to roast marshmallows over an open fire!

Romance Tip Shopping List

1. One bag of marshmallows

2. Skewers

( you can buy wooden handled ones at Pier 1 Imports)

3. One Fire Place with fire burning

(Candles can be substituted for a fire on those too hot days. Clean out the fireplace. Remove the grate and any other objects from the fireplace. Line the bottom of the fireplace with lighted votive candles in their clear glass containers. You will be amazed at the results. It may take a few, but they will sparkle like diamonds in place of a real fire).

4. One soft rug, (in front of the fireplace)

For those of us who might prefer sitting rather than laying on a rug, (and you know who you are), use foot stools placed in front of the fireplace.

5. A stemmed glass of your favorite beverage,

(or a cup of your favorite hot beverage will do).

6. A little mood music, if you please

7. Lights dimmed or ........... well, you know what I mean.

8. Don't forget to send an invitation that is hard to refuse. Make it mysterious or humorous, or make it a pot luck dinner invitation. But make it special and unique, and send it in the mail. And make sure you include RSVP so your lucky lady or fella will know you require confirmation.

For us married folks...... (even we like to be romanced), mail that invitation from the office and make a date with your wife or husband. Guys, bring your clothes to the office and arrive home at the arranged time just as if it were a date. And make sure the kids are away at Grandma's house for the night! And don't forget to ring that door bell! Remember, this is a date!!!!!!!!!

9. Relax, chat, and let the moment dictate the action.
