Dead Beat Dads-
The effects of non payment of child support by
non custodial parents have many ramifications. My daughter and
grandchildren are dealing with the problems caused when Dead Beat
Dads fail to pay their court issued child support payments.
Unfortunately the problems are like tentacles reaching out in all directions and effecting not just the single moms and their children, but grandparents and other family members who must step in to help . Unfortunately, the problems don't stop with the immediate family. This issue effects everyone from the tax payer who picks up a lot of the financial burden in the form of medical, dental, food and housing, to the local communities who often deal with the psychological effects of this uncaring parent. Even moms who are going to school to improve their life and the lives of their children find it difficult to juggle without either family or the State's help. Those moms who work, (at usually menial jobs), struggle daily just to keep a roof over their children. The astronomical financial burden could be better put to use in helping single moms go back to school to get training so they can raise their standard of living and be self sufficient and putting back into the communities rather than having to subsist on their help. We will dedicate our Dad Beat Dads site to airing the problems, hearing from both sides, and perhaps, solving the problems.
