Plan "special" events in advance

Imagination can offset a tight budget.  Don't be afraid to be creative or funky.  A picnic in the back yard using hay bales as seating along with a roaring fire, hotdogs and marshmallows, is always a winner.  For the city dweller, dining at McDonalds with a table cloth, candles, china and crystal, will perk her interest.

Scented Candles are always great mood makers.  Candle glow is a great way to direct the evening in the right direction.  Just make sure the scent is one she will enjoy. Oh, by the way...we always look better by candle light.

Flowers are always a romantic gift! - Perhaps your neighbor has some she will let you cut fresh!

Music sets the mood - If you want energy, play something fast and funky.  If  you want romance, play mellow instrumentals. Music with lyrics tend to detract from the conversation and make it difficult to communicate.

Think "Themes" when planning a special event - Whether it is under the sea, laid back country, or suave and sophisticated, themes make it easy to arrange.  The subject just leads to all kinds of ideas!

Do something different -  How about a hot air balloon ride and a picnic or a helicopter ride over the city.  What ever you do, try to find something unique to set the tone for the evening.  Hiring a violinist for that picnic meal under the stars might just tip the scales.

Where there's a will, there is a way!  If this girl is the ONE! Don't give up on the first try.  Caution...there is a fine line between perusing your dream girl and stalking her.  However, a written invitation that is good for any day that is convenient for her, leaves the ball in her court and will cause her to pause and reflect.  If she does not reply...move on.
