Well, you're right! But there's no mistake. This is a look at an electric vehicle race in Winston-Salem.
There's one thing you'll miss, however, and that is the roar of the engines. It was the quietest race I have ever been to. As those cars raced down the straight-away in front of the stands there was this "hmmmmmmmmmmmm" as they raced by. It took a little getting used to.
Oh, and that roar of the crowds was pleasant enough for the few who attended--Mostly parents and family of the racers, no doubt. A lot of the drivers were college and highschool kids who had put the cars together in shop class.
We got to see the EV1 that acted as the pace car for the race. It was a very impressive looking vehicle.
