Get a personal point of view at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. You will find a slice of Oregon's rugged coastline, beautifully reproduced on the shores of Newport's Yaquina Bay. Here you can meet more than 190 animal species that thrive in Oregon's unique marine habitats.

Named one of the top 10 aquariums in the nation by Parade Magazine.

Experience personal encounters with sea life found on, under and over the ocean- close t our Oregon shores. natural animal habitats provide viewing opportunities, both above ground and through underwater windows enabling visitors to gaze into seldom seen worlds.

You will find six acres of high cliffs, yawning caves, rocky pools, rolling waves and nature trails. Discover seals, sea lions, sea otters and a giant Pacific octopus. Tufted puffins and other sea birds make their home in one of the largest walk-through aviaries in North America, where special windows let you watch them 'fly' under water- diving for fish.

This is the aquarium where Keiko, the killer whale, star of Free Willy, was undergoing rehabilitation. He has since been air lifted to an area up north where he will be acclimated and set free when he is ready.

Indoors, four large exhibit galleries offer a close-up view of the Oregon shoreline and open sea. A touch pool and discovery lab challenge you to explore; a video theater offers breathtaking looks at Oregon's sharks, gray whales and seabirds.
