It was a difficult decision...
...The winner is: Gabe LaPeer from Kalamazoo, Michigan!! Congratulations! Gabe will receive a check for $35.00 in the mail from Cactus Ventures! As soon as we have Our Bigfoot T-shirts made, Gabe will receive one as part of winning the contest.
The runner up is: Mike Geist. He will also receive a Bigfoot T-shirt from Cactus Ventures! Thanks, Mike for your great entry. Like we said, it was a difficult decision. They were all so good!
Sorry, no professionals entered. We found out after offering the contest to them that professionals do not enter contests because of the copyrights on their work. But, we had to open the contest to everyone and give those who were not professionals a chance to win. That was why we set up two art categories. We received no Bigfoot Stories for our contest. I guess there are no budding authors out there. Maybe next time.
All-in-all, we decided to hire a professional Air Brush Artist to create our official Bigfoot portrait for our sight. That project will be done soon and we will be posting the results soon!
We just opened our doors with posters "You Must Have". We now have Posters for college students, Science Fiction/Fantasy, and Sports Posters. There will be more to come!
