I've just recently heard some very strange sounds in the Black Hills of South
Dakota while deer hunting. They were some very weird grunts and whistles. They
were not elk I know what they sound like. We heard they of and on for several
hours. We were in Spearfish Canyon and it was snowing a little so the echo might
have been bad. But it sounded like it was right on top of us.
