A Light Hearted Approach to Reporting the Unusual
I haven't done much with this Sasquatch Watch feature in the last year. I am hoping that I will once again be able to pick up my pen and create an entertaining and light hearted addition to the Bigfoot site. In the past I was riding by the seat of my pants on this one. However, experience makes us all wiser, and I have learned a lot since first creating this particular feature.
The following is a list of rules for this site. I am sorry that they have become necessary but there are those few who attempt to ruin it for the rest. So, to you who feel the need to write me with your witty and charming Bigfoot scenarios, please do so. For those who feel the need to use every four letter word in the book and otherwise be crass and vulgar, don't bother 'cause you won't find your stuff on this forum.
The Rules
1. Nothing gross, crass, vulgar, or obscene will pass my desk- a guarantee!
2. You can e-mail me with your creative whit. Do not send me snail mail.
3. Keep it short, people. This is not a short story contest.
4. We maintain the right to print what we choose and not print also what we choose.
5. All submissions for this feature become the property of Sasquatch Watch
6. We will send you a brief notification that we have received your submissions. If we publish it, it will be up on our site. If we don't, it won't. You will have to periodically check the site to find out if you are up there. We do not personally reply to these submissions except to let you know we received it.
7. This is a light hearted, fun feature. We expect your submissions to reflect that.
8. There is no deadline for submissions. We read them when they arrive, or as soon as we get to them. We publish them when we have the time. Sorry. That is the best we can do since this is a one person operation and I do the work myself.
10. Please write Creature Features as the subject to your e-mail. We get a lot of e-mail from all over the world and it is important that you do this so we can sort through our mail properly, and so we know if it is a fictional fun report for the Creature Feature site, or an actual sighting. This is very important!
11. We will be dating each submission as to when it is published on our site. We will place new submissions at the top of the list and the older ones will move down. At a certain point, should we receive enough to warrant it, older submissions will remain published but will be moved to another site specifically for those items. This is our way of keeping the feature timely, current, and relevant.
So, having had my say, I invite you to try your hand at this new medium! I look forward to hearing what you can come up with.
