"I might have some information for you about bigfoot research in the Dakotas. I lived on the Cheyenne Reservation for some time and have heard a lot of stories about him from elders. Some of these stories are very recent and could help you some. American Indians have always had a relation with bigfoot before white men came to the Dakotas."

The person who wrote this post lives on an Indian Reservation. The map, below, is a map of present Indian Reservations. Since a lot of the sightings take place on or near the reservations, it may help you to visualize the locations where the reports are coming from.

Please note that North Dakota is right below Manitoba, the location of the Canadian teacher who has the hair sample. Many believe Bigfoot is not territorial, but nomadic. This would account for the wide rage of sightings.

Note in the south eastern corner of Idaho. The sighting reported here was on the Sho-Ban reservation between Pocatello Idaho and Idaho Falls, Idaho, near the town of Blackfoot. You can see the orange coloration marking the reservation boundaries there.
