When you walk into East Side Mario's you are walking into a bit of authentic New York City back in the days when life was simple and the food was fresh and straight from the recipes of Italian immigrants fresh off the boats from the old country. The Statue of Liberty greets you at the door along with a waiter dressed accordingly with the typical white apron. All around you balconies line the walls and painted frescos depicting the sights and sounds of "Little Italy" take your senses on an experience filled with fresh baked breads, steaming pastas, and vegetable stands. You can almost hear the noises of the street merchants hawking their wares in the narrow alleys and streets of the East Side of New York, complete with a miniature of the Brooklyn Bridge suspended across the ceiling.

The food is delicious and they serve more than enough to satisfy any hunger. Be sure and check out the appetizers. I suggest the fried zucchini. For vegetarians you will want to try the Angel Hair Primavera, (filled with delicious grilled vegetables). For those vegetarians who still eat dairy, you will want to try the chicken tetrazinni (hold the chicken).

This is one dining experience you won't want to miss!
