Golden Dale, Washington Sighting
Date Published on this site - November 11, 1999
ID # 00004
Approximate sighting date - between the last week of October and the first week in November of 1999
If you will note the box
outlined with red on the left bottom of the map where the word
Washington appears. That is the south West region. Right next to
it, the tall, rectangle, is the South Central Region. If you will
note the point where the border of both intersects at a river,
(drawn in black and traversing north eastward from the gorge),
that is somewhere near Goldendale. Notice the proximity to the
Columbia Gorge on the south. The South West region is a hot spot
for Bigfoot reports.

Sighting took place approximately one to two weeks ago, (See report date above), (I will update this information as soon as I get more details), somewhere near a logging camp near Golden Dale, Washington, ( a small rual town south west of Yakima).
The man was a logging loader. He is the person who is supposed to be the first man at the logging site because he loads the trucks when they start arriving for the day. He usually arrives around 3:00 to 4:00 a.m. and waits for the trucks by himself.
This particular day when the logging trucks turned onto the logging road from the Highway, the logging loader was sitting in his truck parked by the side of the road near the highway. When the truck drivers asked him why he was not waiting for them at the logging site he told them that as he was driving up to the site, a Bigfoot crossed the road in front of him. He was too afraid to go to the site and be there alone. He lead the trucks to the site without incident.
This incident was reported to me by a friend from Yakima whose son is a logging truck driver. He lives in Goldendale. I don't know whether he was there or was told about it. My friend is going to get more details and I will report them to you as soon as I get them. She is going to find out exactly which mountain they were on.
