I lived in Pottawotomi County in the 70s & 80s. I had a couple of occurrences with what I believed to be a Bigfoot while living there. Around 1980, while swimming at night with some friends at a lake (known as Pott County Lake II, we heard a bloodcurdling scream from across the cove we were swimming in. At first we thought it was a woman, but it was just way too loud and highpitched. We got out of the water and were standing on shore when we heard splashing, as if it were running through the water. Needless to say, we ran like hell to our car! On another occasion on a country road near there, while sitting in a car at night, something pushed down on the back of the car with a lot of force. The bottom of the car hit the ground, and we all heard very loud steps running away from the car. Though I didn't actually see anything either time, I believe this was a Bigfoot.
