Tuesday October 26, 1999

"Hello...

...October 20, we just found the trademark broken saplings, and heard loud intentional rapping on wood for almost 20 minutes - absolutely no one in the area- had to come to work unfortunately-heading back November 2.

His latest Expedition Report - November 12, 1999

I went back to the area where we heard various sounds, including
the loud deliberate rapping on wood, no one in the area. We didnt have a
sighting, though we were probably close. Am trying to continue trips up
there, even now with the season turning, but am still in need of people
willing to go. The gates are now locked for the rainy season, but I'm hoping to
ride down to the area on bikes. I can get my truck within about 3 miles, after
60 or so miles on a wilderness road.
