11 years ago, when one of our readers was 8 or 9 years old, she and her family were on summer break. They visited Yellowstone National Park. They were staying in a campground there. (Yellowstone is North of Idaho Falls Idaho, mentioned in a previous report). She and her sister stopped to use one of those outside toilets typical in campgrounds. The door did not go all the way to the ground. She said she could see the ground outside the building and light pored in underneath. It was off by itself, away from the main part of the camp, as they are usually placed.

Suddenly there was a noise outside and a growling sound. She looked down and saw harry feet standing right in front of the door. She said she knew it was not a bear as the feet looked like human feet, just with hair. They were not paw-like and had no claws and it did not stand on four legs. This creature began to shake the room as if trying to push it over. It kept rattling the building for several minutes. Suddenly it left. The girls were too scared to leave right away. They stayed there about fifteen minutes before venturing outside.

When they got back to camp they told their story and the adults came back with them to the toilet. There they found tracks all around the building and broken tree limbs where it seemed to enter into the woods. This incident would have been in 1987 or 1988. (I have talked to the family and they have agreed to provide me with as much information as they can remember. I will update you as soon as that information arrives.)

Meeting Bigfoot seems to be a family tradition in this family. The young lady who reported this incident also told us of a previous incident experienced by her father when he was a Boy Scout in Florida. Her father later authenticated the report for us.

It seems that his experience was with the infamous Skunk Ape of the Everglades. He was on a scouting trip. He only saw the eyes and the face as it was watching him. Other boys saw it too. He seems to remember an injury to one of the children there. He said he hadn't thought about it in a long time and a lot of the detail are sketchy. But he knows he saw a Skunk Ape. This would be back around 1971. ( He is going to try and remember in more detail this incident. I will report the details as soon as I get them.

Well, if this family affinity for Bigfoot is not enough, my daughter, who has had a Bigfoot incident herself, married this man and is raising these children. What are the odds that they would have all had Bigfoot experiences? Truth seems to be stranger than fiction. I have written about my version of my daughter's Bigfoot experience from my limited point of view. She has promised me she will also write her own version which I will put up on this site.
