Do Bigfoot Whistle?

The debate over whistling Bigfoot continues.  Carene share's observations and theories with us.

Subject: Whistles and Bigfoot

Whistles and Bigfoot has been the topic of much discussion among Bigfoot researchers. Do Bigfoots whistle? I've written the following to support
those who believe this to be true.

Reports from my area, California tend to confirm that Sasquatch does indeed whistle. It is true, (as recently pointed out in a message posted by Regan, along with many other valid and interesting points) that a whistle
can travel further and may I suggest more 'anonymously' than many other types of vocal communication.

In a notable percentage of sightings from Northern California 'whistles' are often heard around the time of a sighting, and then subsequently associated with it. Also, it appears that Sasquatch is adept at utilizing a large variety of other bird sounds. It is fairly well documented, and it is not uncommon to hear a witness say he/she heard the sounds of 'day' birds  at night......etc.

I myself have thought it quite odd while in various locations in the mountains to hear so many very different varieties of birds at a particular place, some that I am certain I've never heard before. It's not just that
there is such variety in itself, but rather the quality of the sounds, the volume and tone that is so unique. 

Also, one may discover that there seems to be a definite 'purpose' for the sounds, it's not all just happy chirping,
or warning signals, but active transference of information regarding pinpointing a location etc. As many others have discovered, not all bird sounds heard in the woods are made by birds.........

I don't know if any of you have heard of this, but I've also noted a noise that can only be described as sounding similar to 'sonar'......hard to describe in other terms. I have recorded this sound and it's quite
interesting. It is a sound that really travels, bouncing off trees and canyon walls and carrying for a long distance.

In addition to the whistles etc, there is the tapping form of
communication. These two distinct methods of communication are often employed at the same time. I've discovered that there are various meanings for different numbers of 'taps' and types of tapping. There's tapping, and then there's loud whacking!! Strange but true.

The last report I documented regarding whistles/tapping was from about 2 weeks ago. Two fellows fishing at night heard what initially sounded like 2 birds calling back and forth. This occurred in No. Calif. at about 2,8000
ft. elevation.

Soon the whistles were accompanied by a series of tapping sounds, also back
and forth. The whistles got louder and 1 witness remarks on the "throaty" sound of the calls.

Also noted by witness was the location and distance between the "birds"........ they kept track of each other's location, staying at an equal distance from each other while at the same time maneuvering to different points around the fishermen. 

The witness I interviewed was very
certain that what he initially believed to be "birds" were not birds at all, but something else.........something big. Witness also reports hearing loud
footfalls.

Unfortunately, I was unable to go to the location. This occurrence took place in a remote mountain location, several miles from any road, one which would
require a long, determined and difficult effort to get to.........still, for the determined sportsman, I understand the fishing is great!!
