bandaids, gauze pads, adhesive tape, iodine, alcohol, pain reliever, something for insect bites and allergic reactions, triple antibiotic ointment, tweezers, needles, pins, nail clippers, scissors, thread, plastic razor, hand and body lotion, sunscreen, zinc oxide, a hat, a t-shirt, (a basic change of clothes), peroxide, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, brush, paper towels, pre-moistened towelette, shampoo, liquid or bar soap, bathroom tissue, kleenex, clear nail polish, (for chiggers), matches, pre-formed packaged fireplace log, (in case you need to start a fire in adverse conditions), filled gas can, canned tire inflater, tools, sun glasses, licorice essential oils, (anis), wearing that scent hides human scent), short handled shovel, kitty litter, (for traction in muddy or icy conditions), rain poncho, extra pair of cloth tennis shoes, ( in case you have to wade streams or just need a change of shoes), jugs of water, (can use to drink, wash, fill radiator, cook, or use for making casts), dehydrated military type ration food packs, cooking utensils, sleeping bags, small tent, ziploc bags, flashlights, batteries, large trash bags, (in wet conditions they make wonderful places to kneel or sit and can be put under sleeping bags or used as a rain poncho).
