California Sighting a Family Experience

I am writing this e- mail to let people know that Bigfoot or Sasquatch exists.  How do I know? Back in the early seventies, my parents encountered just such a creature on two occasions. I was in the car on both occasions, but I did not see the Bigfoot because I was asleep. 

Sighting # 1 took place in the California valley near the town of San-Luis Obispo. My father stopped the car to rest in the country, it was after midnight. He heard something coming up the road and turned on his headlights. He said it was big and hairy and looked like a gorilla.

 I asked him years later if he thought it was Bigfoot? He remarked at the time I did not know what Bigfoot was, I just turned the car around and got out of there fast!

 Sighting # 2 took place near the borders of Calif and AZ.   My mother was driving the car, my sister and brother also saw Bigfoot.  We were driving thru the Mojave desert. According to my mother and siblings it was a moon-lit night so they could see things quite clearly.  I am told that Bigfoot crossed the highway with such long strides that it appeared to be bounding. When she passed the spot where it would have exited the highway there was nothing to be seen. My mother also noted that there were plenty of sand dunes it could have gone behind. Mom also said that the hair on it 'flowed like veils'. 

I know these stories are true because my parents are totally honest and level headed not the kind given to lies or hoaxes. I am telling these accounts to let people know that not all sightings are hoaxes, hallucinations, or otherwise.
