These footprints were discovered in January 2001
The following photos were taken by a witness who wants to remain anonymous. Click on the thumbnails to view the large photos. They were scanned at 150 DPI.
There are two tracks in this picture. One is a partial and it is the larger of the two.
The large print in on the bottom and the smaller print was made over the top of it, almost dissecting it in half. If you can imagine a clock face, the heel of the large print is at the 4-5 o'clock position, its toes at the 10-11 o'clock position. The smaller print, which is complete, is facing up with the toes at the 12-1 o'clock position, the heel is at 6 o'clock position.
The full sized print is 12 " in length. There has been no enhancement
of this photo in the scanning process. You can see the witness's boot in
the left hand corner of the photo..
In this second photo is an 18" track big toe to heel. A tape measure
was set against the track to measure it and the two sticks at each end mark the
beginning and the end of the track. The only enhancement of this photo was
to lighten the picture because it was shadowed by the person taking the
measurements.
This photos is of an 18" track that is 7"
wide at the ball of the foot. The photo was lightened for easier viewing.
This again is an 18" footprint. Note the snuff can and watch laid
along side the foot as a size reference. The heel is to the left, the toes
to the right. Sticks mark the ends of the footprint.
Is this photo a picture of a bigfoot in shadow? Heavens no! However,
at first glance many people would assume that. In the original photo, I
thought I saw a bigfoot in the shadows. Not the shadow itself, but within
the shadow. The leaves in the shadow were high-lighted in such a way that
if you looked at what appears to be the left shoulder area , a face that
resembled that of a bigfoot appears almost as if it is a negative picture.
That illusion cannot be seen in this scanned photo. Sorry, it just isn't
possible to get the desired clarity from a scanned photo. I had to look at
it several times and then I got excited. However, the excitement was short
lived as I turned over the picture and read the caption on the back of the
picture. It read..." My shadow".
I am including this photo just to show that our eyes can be deceiving. All of the photos I have seen so far have been ink blots, in shadows, and open for interpretation by most of our imaginations. Only a photo similar to the stills taken from the Patterson film, or something that is the same quality as a family photo, will be taken seriously by most researchers. And the sad thing is that no one has yet to present one with that quality. Until that happens, few will give any credence to photos where we have to guess what we see lurking in the shadows.
