Memphis Bigfoot

Subject: Big foot

I used to landscape here in Memphis, Tennessee.  I can remember about 15 years ago we were working in East Memphis on Mt. Morial.

There was lots an lots of wild forest around and three of my people and my self were getting ready to plant trees and shrubs around the new building.  I saw something down the hill.  It looked like a monkey are something that was about 3 feet tall and it had reddish brown hair. It weighed about 40 to 50 pounds.  I told everybody, "look at that monkey," and when they looked at it, it ran in the 5 are 6 foot drain pipe that was just sitting in the ground. The pipe was not covered up yet and when it ran it was standing straight up like a human. 

I said, "Dam that's strange!" Then I asked everybody to go down that hill with me. They said, "No way!" By that time Gary, my supervisor  pulled up and  asked me where I was going.  I told him I'd seen a hairy man like a monkey run in the pipe. He got two flash lights and when we made it down the hill we saw prints of feet.  It had human feet about like a size 7 but the monkey was about 3 feet tall.

We both turned an looked at each other and decided to go in the pipe were the foot prints led to. Assoon as we got about 10 feet in side the pipe we both turned on the flash lights and there it was, standing up like a human, and had a head like a human, and two big eyes. The arms and legs, and the rest of the body had hair like a monkey all over its entire body. When we shined the light in his face his eyes were big and yellow.  I said, "Dam!" real loud and it took off running down the pipe.  I mean, we both got the hell out of that pipe and we ran back up the hill.  I will never forget what I saw as long as I live and I know I am telling the truth  James Barbee
